Stacey Abrams is once again the Democratic nominee running for the gubernatorial race. In 2018, she ran against Brian Kemp for the seat. After losing, she peddled election fraud claims for years. Some on the left continue to refer to her as the governor of Georgia. With the race heating up she has recently denied saying she won the 2018 election however, there is still online proof showing she did just that. In the 2020 presidential election, the left claimed insurrection when President Trump spoke on election fraud, but when Abrams and Hillary Clinton did so their claims were supported and backed up.
Stacey is the definition of everything Georgia does not need. For instance, the Georgia legislature voted on legislation regarding voting rights. What did Abrams have to say about this bill? She referred to this bill as racist and compared it to Jim Crow laws. Her rhetoric affected the location of the MLB All-Star Game. The MLB moved the game to a different state instead of Georgia. Instead, Colorado reaped the tourism benefits from the game, and Georgia lost out on an estimated 100 million in tourism dollars. Abrams tried to ruin the state's reputation by comparing a new voter law to Jim Crow laws. She cost the state money and lied about the bill the legislature passed. After the bill went into law, the primaries for midterms saw record voter turnout. The facts refute her claims that this bill is comparable to Jim Crow laws.
Abrams recently claimed that Georgia was the worst state to live in. This isn’t a normal claim to make about a state you want to win an election in. Her words often get her in trouble whether she realizes it or not. Abrams not too long ago also claimed that there is no such thing as a fetal heartbeat at 6 weeks old. This statement sparked outrage online, especially from young mothers who have heard their baby's heartbeat at 6 weeks only not to hear it weeks later. She tried to claim that doctors are manufacturing the heartbeat sound to take control of a woman’s body. Abrams missed the day at school when they discussed how life develops in the womb. Denying a heartbeat at 6 weeks can only make her one thing- a science denier. To believe a heartbeat does not exist at 6 weeks she completely denies all scientific proof regarding a baby's heartbeat.
It begs the question why is Stacey running for governor in Georgia? In a state, she believes that racist laws are being passed. Why would she run in a state she believes does not have fair elections? She fails to realize if she won she would have the title of governor in the worst state in America. That’s not a title she would want to bear. This is not a candidate that is right for Georgia. Georgians are strong and very capable but Abrams on the other hand constantly plays the victim card. She fails to realize she is doing much better financially than many Georgians and if her policies were enacted voters would be far worse off. Georgians can’t afford to have her as governor. Her comments about Georgia being the worst state to live in may come back to bite her on election day. Her prior comments disqualify her as a serious candidate. She is too far left for a southern farming state. The Wisconsin transplant does not understand the culture or the values of the state. She is bad business for Georgia. The election results of this race will likely be the same as the results in 2018, perhaps this time around she will take the loss in a much better way.
